What we send

Marketing email from Purrela includes a welcome series after you subscribe, notes about new arrivals and the collection, and automated messages that are triggered by what you do on our website. Those automated messages may include a reminder if you begin a checkout and do not complete it, a follow up if you have not ordered from us in a long time, and a short series after an order covering the care and use of what you bought.

Because these messages contain product links and promotional content, we treat them as marketing rather than as purely transactional mail, and you can stop all of them by unsubscribing.

Our email platform

We use Klaviyo, Inc. as our email marketing platform. When you subscribe, Klaviyo stores your email address, your name where you have given it, your marketing consent status and the date and source of that consent, your order history with us, and your engagement with our email such as opens and clicks. Klaviyo processes this information on our behalf and under our instructions as a service provider.

Onsite tracking, and how it connects to you

Our website runs a tracking script provided by Klaviyo. Before you give us your email address, that script records the pages and products you view and the items you add to your cart, and stores that activity against an anonymous identifier held in your browser.

If you later subscribe, place an order, or click a link in one of our emails, that previously anonymous browsing history is joined to your identity. From that point forward, your activity on our website is associated with you by name and email address. We use this record to decide which automated messages to send you and which products to feature inside them.

You can stop this in any of the following ways:

How to unsubscribe

Unsubscribing stops marketing email. It does not stop the email we need to send you to complete a transaction. You will continue to receive order confirmations, payment receipts, shipping and tracking notifications, and replies from our support team, because those messages are necessary to fulfill an order you placed.

We do not sell your email address

We do not sell your email address, and we do not rent, trade, or otherwise disclose it to third parties for their own marketing purposes. The only parties who handle it are the service providers who operate our store and our email program on our behalf.

How long we keep this information
